Nick Mobley, of the London School of Diving in Chiswick, England has created the world’s first ‘underwater turbo training cycle.’ The underwater stationary bike is set up at the bottom of the school’s diving pool and is designed for use with Scuba Gear.
The School of Diving is hosting a charity event, challenging divers to ride the bike for a mile. Divers who raise at least 100 British Pounds can participate in the challenge. The event runs from February 1st until March 21, 2010 and all proceeds will go to Sport Relief. The winner of the challenge will receive a gift certificate to the dive school worth 200 British Pounds.
